India’s third moon mission ‘Chandrayaan-3’ (Chandrayaan-3) was launched on Friday. It was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 2:35 pm. This mission, prepared at a cost of 615 crores, will land near the south pole of the Moon after a journey of about 42 days. LVM-3 launcher was used to send ‘Chandrayaan-3’

India will become the first country in the world to land a spacecraft on the Moon’s south pole.

On the successful launch of India’s third moon mission Chandrayaan 3, former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan said- “Congratulations to the ISRO team. The moral support and enthusiasm shown by all of you, we hope that our mission will be successful.”

 

 

 

Chinese Media Congratulated for successful Launch of Chandrayaan 3

Chinese media has congratulated on the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. Global Times tweeted- Congratulations! India has successfully launched its lunar mission Chandrayaan3 on Friday. The spacecraft is expected to attempt a soft landing on the Moon in August. Once successful, India will become the fourth country to make a controlled landing on the Moon.

 

It will land between August 23-24

This time the orbit in which Chandrayaan-3 has been launched by the LVM3 rocket is the 170X36,500 kilometer elliptical Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO), Chandrayaan-3 has been successfully launched. Anytime between August 23-24, it will land near the Manzinus-U crater on the Moon’s south pole.
