No. of Notification: 33A/2022 In its notification No. 33/2022, dated 15.11.2022, the Commission, dated 13.12.2022, solicited applicants for the position of “Assistant Professor of Psychology cum clinical psychologist. Included in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service.
TNPSC-Assistant Professor of Psychology
1) The Government has since changed the educational requirements for the aforementioned job, according G.O.Ms. No. 422, Health & Family Welfare Department, dated 12.11.2007, according to its letter No. 43540/AA1/2021-4, dated 02.12.2022. As a result, the phrase from the aforementioned Notification for the position of “Assistant Professor of Psychology cum Clinical Psychologist” included in the Tamil Nadu Medical Service will read as follows under the heading Educational Qualification in para 5(B)
For the purpose of receiving a grant, applicants must hold the following degrees—or an equivalent qualification—from any university or other institution approved by the University Grants Commission:
(a) Must possess a Post graduate degree in Psychology; and
(b) M.Phil (or) Ph.D degree in Clinical Psychology;
(or)
(a) Must possess a Post graduate degree in Psychology;
(b) a diploma in Medical Psychology or Social Psychology; and
(c) a diploma in Clinical Psychology.
